Accusing Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) of using Fox New conspiracy theories on NBC’s “Meet The Press” today, host Chuck Todd exposed how he’s one of the anti-Trump press leading the charge to impeachment. Showing his combative side, Todd didn’t like hearing alternative views to the Democrat and media narrative that 73-year-old President Donald Trump committed high crimes and misdemeanors in a July 25 phone call to 41-year-old Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. When Johnson defended Trump’s right to explore corruption in Ukraine, Todd got unhinged, raising his voice at Johnson. “ I have no idea why Fox New conspiracy propaganda stuff is popping up on here. I have no idea. Trump feels better here that you’re not criticizing him,” Todd said, making no sense. Calling Johnson’s remarks Fox News conspiracy theories allows Todd to push his own propaganda.

Todd’s confrontation with Johnson was presented as a win for the press but actually exposed Todd’s clever attempt to spin his own agenda. “Answer the question that I asked you instead of trying to make Donald Trump fell better here that you’re not criticizing him,” Todd demanded of Johnson. What unnerved Todd is that Johnson presented his narrative, didn’t buy Todd’s spin that Trump tried to blackmail the Ukrainian president to investigate the Bidens. “What made you wince,” Todd asked Johnson. I’m asking a simple question about you clearly were upset that somehow there was an implication that military aid was being frozen because the president wanted an investigation. Why did you wince?” Todd tried to bully Johnson into accepting his speculation that Trump tried to blackmail Volymrmyr Zelensky into digging up dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden.

Todd won’t admit that Trump actually sought information about Joe’s 50-year-old son, Hunter, who worked on the board of Burisma Holdings natural gas company for $50,000 a month. Todd wanted Johnson to admit that Trump violated campaign laws to influence the 2020 election by asking the Ukrainian president to investigate the Bidens. When House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) announced Sept. 24 that she was opening up impeachment proceedings against Trump, it was on wild speculation that Trump tried to interfere with the 2020 election. Neither Todd nor the Democrat Party admits that Trump was focused on Hunter Biden, not Joe, the Democrat Party front-runner for president. Todd didn’t want Johnson to point out that investigating Hunter Biden raises no legal issues. Johnson said emphatically that Trump denied trying to blackmail Ukraine for political favors.

Todd wants to advance the Democrat Party’s narrative on NBC’s airwaves, not deal with the media’s anti-Trump bias, including backing the idea for nearly three years that Trump was a Russian asset. When Johnson challenged Todd’s Democrat narrative, he got contentious on “Meet The Press.” “He completely denies it. He adamantly denied it. He vehemently, angrily denied it. He said “I’d never do that,” Johnson said, in response to Todd insisting that Trump tried to withhold Ukrainian military aid in exchange for dirt on the Bidens. “The press is horribly biased,” Johnson told Todd. Surveys at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, Shorenstein Center, shows that the press is 97% biased against Trump. “I understand that the way to avoid answering a question is to attack us in the press,” Todd said, not admitting the obvious that press holds extreme prejudice against Trump.

Todd asked Johnson if he trusted the FBI and CIA. Johnson said “no,” reminding Todd about romantically entwined FBI agents Lisa Page and Peter Strzok whose emails and texts showed they worked to sabotage a Trump presidency. “I have no idea why a Fox News conspiracy stuff is popping up on here,” Todd said. Todd won’t admit to any irregularity at the FBI under former FBI Director James Comey, instead branding Fox News “conspiracy theories.” When the Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz said Comey behaved inappropriately before getting fired May 9, 2017, Todd said nothing. Todd mentioned nothing then about the IG’s criticism of Comey nor will he say anything when U.S. Atty. John Durham finishes his investigation into the origins of the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation of Trump. Todd doesn’t report on anything positive for Trump.

Caught red handed on national TV advancing the Democrat agenda on NBC’s “Meet The Press,” Todd got rattled when Johnson refused to let the deeply partisan news host push Democrat Party propaganda. Todd tried his best to bully Johnson, accusing him of advancing Fox News conspiracy theories. Spending no time on the basis of the Democrat impeachment hearings, Todd doesn’t want to hear about Trump asking the Ukrainian President to look into Hunter Biden who’s not a presidential candidate like his father, Joe. Democrats know there’s no restriction on Trump asking a foreign leader about suspected corruption of a U.S. citizen. When you consider the role Joe played in Hunter’s $50,000 job in Ukraine or millions he received from China for a private equity fund, there’s plenty of reason to look into the Bidens. Todd doesn’t want the real facts, only those that advance the Democrat Party agenda.
