Reprising her 2016 feud with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), 73-year-old former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) reminds voters why she lost to 73-year-old President Donald Trump in 2016. Hillary never acknowledged her cheating with former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fl.) during the 2016 election. Once hacked emails hit the campaign in July 2016, it proved Wasserman-Schultz worked closely under-the-table with the Hillary campaign to sabotage Bernie. Not only did Hillary get the lion’s share of superdelegates given her an unfair advantage over Bernie, she got the DNC’s help when it came to fund-raising. With Democrats only two weeks from the Iowa Caucuses, Hillary chimes in again, denouncing Bernie after his dust-up with Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who accused Bernie of sexist remarks.

Speaking at CNN’s Des Moines Register debate Jan. 14, Warren accused Sanders of saying a woman could not win the presidency. Sanders countered, saying emphatically that he never said that. Since then, Warren has watched her presidential ambitions continue to unravel, now polling at 14.8% in national averages. Sanders has a nearly 6% lead on Warren nationally, prompting her to lash out at Bernie in the last CNN debate. Hillary felt inclined to lash out at Bernie, now that he’s running a clear second to former Vice President Joe Bide, polling at 28.4%, showing that most Democrat voters see Biden as the Party’s likely nominee. Biden’s polling has remained consistent since April 25, 2019 when he declared for president. Biden hasn’t said much about the Sanders-Warrant dust-up, watching both rivals self-destruct while he presents the Democrats’ best option against Trump.

Hillary has expressed no interest in jumping into the Democrat 2020 presidential primary campaign, letting Democrat candidates battle it out. When Warren started to sink in the polls, Hillary felt inclined rehab her flagging campaign. “Nobody likes him,” Hillary said in a Hulu documentary. “Nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He’s was a career politician. It all just baloney, and I feel so bad that people get sucked into it,” Hillary said, making the case against Bernie. When Hillary lost to Trump Nov. 4, 2016, she’s found every excuse under the sun, blaming former FBI Director James Comey, the Russians and, of course, Trump’s lies. Hillary hasn’t forgotten losing plenty of close primaries to Bernie in 2016, prompting her to say something in 2020. Hillary’s vendetta with Bernie goes beyond the pale since she helped sabotage his campaign with Wasserman-Shultz in 2016.

Hillary can’t get over her loss to Trump when the entire media, with the possible exception of Fox News, threw their support to Hillary in 2016. Since swearing in Jan. 20, 2017, Democrats and the media have done everything possible to undermine Trump’s presidency. Democrats backed 100% Special Counsel Robert Muller’s Russian collusion investigation into Trump until March 23, 2019 when he cleared Trump of any wrongdoing. It was Hillary’s infamous dossier of paid position research assembled by Christopher Steele who fueled the Special Counsel probe, accusing Trump of Russian meddling in the 2016 campaign. Now House Democrats, in approving two articles of impeachment against Trump Dec. 13, 2019, claim Trump committed impeachable offenses in a July 25, 2019 phone call with 40-year-old Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, insisting he interfered with the 2020 election.

Democrats charge Trump with withholding Congressionally-approved military funds in Ukraine to coerce Zelensky into dredging up dirt on 77-year-old former Vice President Joe Biden and his 50-year-old son, Hunter. Yet Democrats haven’t proved that Trump tried to sabotage Joe’s presidential campaign. Over the next few days, Democrats will have their impeachment articles tested in a quasi-impeachment court. House and Senate Democrats led by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) demand that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell allow then to subpoena more witnesses. Schiff and Schumer claim without witnesses McConnell’s running a sham impeachment trial, even though Democrats had 12 weeks to complete their impeachment case, ending Dec. 13, 2019 with two articles of impeachment.

Clinton returning to the airwaves to denounce Bernie signals real panic in Warren’s flagging campaign. Clinton carries her own sour grapes from 2016, blaming practically everyone but herself for losing to Trump. “It’s not only him,” Hillary said. “It’s the culture around him. It’s his leadership team. It’s his prominent supporters. It’s his online Bernie Bros and their relentless attack on lots of his competitors, particularly women,” acknowledging that Bernie runs a competitive campaign. Hillary wants to rescue Warren because she knows she’s losing traction in her presidential bid. Bernie’s “culture” is all about defeating Trump. No one’s been more critical of Trump than Bernie. Yet Hillary can’t stay on the sidelines without throwing in her two cents. Hillary doesn’t like Bernie because he nearly beat her in 2016, had it not been the dirty play of DNC’s Wasserman-Schultz.
